After overcoming the hurdles inherent to the immigrant experience—assimilation, language barrier, and cultural differences—a resilient and strong Stella embraced her new country with fervor. She would go on to have a successful career with Trans World Airlines In-Flight Services. Her passion and love for family, and for people in general, have steered her into volunteerism starting when she was a teenager.

Greek Music Historian & Archivist Meletios Pouliopoulos

We welcome the amazing Meletios Pouliopoulos to the podcast. Meletios is a Greek-American independent scholar, historian and archivist, and founder of Greek Cultural Resources, a cultural non profit that conserves Greek American Heritage. In Boston, he produces the radio show "Mondays with Meleti.” Pouliopoulos researches and lectures on Greek-American history, and on Greek music produced in America. In 2015, he served as a consultant on Greek Music in America, an exhibit about Greek music that was produced by the City of Tarpon Springs, FL.
